The problem arises how the readiness of pesantren with social empowerment functions to face the demographic bomb in Indonesia in 2030. This research objectives the question of how vocational education and economic empowerment efforts in pesantren are after the law. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach which was strengthened by quantitative data. The results of the research show that the potential of pesantren as a community power potential is quite large. It's just that unfortunately the collaborative work of fellow pesantren is still minimal. This has resulted in many pesantren facing this free market alone. This study recommends that the world of pesantren needs to expand models of cooperation and collaboration among pesantrens and with other institutions.
