Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui posisi ilmu sains dan teknologi dengan ilmu-ilmu agama yang sejajar, saling melengkapi dan menguatkan keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan konsep integrasi keilmuan dalam kegiatan Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan, diantaranya bahwa integrasi ilmu dalam pendidikan dan pengajaran akan berjalan efektif bila diikuti oleh kompetensi dosen terhadap lintas disiplin ilmu yang memadai, mahasiswa memiliki ilmu agama dan ilmu umu cukup memadai, dan para dosen dan mahasiswa antar fakultas atau program studi dapat berkolaborasi. Direkomendasikan bahwa Kementerian Agama RI dapat menghadirkan naskah akademik tentang implementasi konsep integrasi keilmuan dalam kegiatan Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi di lingkungan Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam (PTKI) sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di bidang pembangunan pendidikan dan keagamaan dan tersusunnya pedoman pendidikan dan pelatihan implementasi integrasi ilmu di PTKI.
